Fifteen Pravasi Bharatiya Divas celebrations start in Varanasi

  • Pravasi Bharatiya Divas celebrations have been started for the first time in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
  • The theme of this year is – Role of Overseas Indians in the creation of a new India.
  • Many world leaders of Indian origin including Mauritius Prime Minister Praveen Kumar Jagannath will participate in this event and will present the views on this year’s theme.
  • Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is celebrated on 9th January every year by the Government of India. On this day Mahatma Gandhi returned home from South Africa. Celebrating this day was from 2003.

ISRO announces the launch of a special satellite for border security

India’s third position in research on artificial intelligence
